NECO Set to Release 2025 SSCE Results – Big Announcement Coming from Minna
All eyes are on Minna, Niger State, as the National Examination Council (NECO) prepares to officially release the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal.
The examination body confirmed that the results will be unveiled on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Council’s Headquarters in Minna. The announcement is to be made by the Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi, in what NECO has described as an epoch-making occasion.
The Council’s workforce is expected to turn out in large numbers at the Conference Hall to witness the ceremony, which marks yet another milestone in NECO’s history.
NECO to Honour Retired Staff
In addition to the results announcement, NECO has lined up its Productivity Award Ceremony for the following day – Thursday, September 18, 2025, by 10 a.m. in Minna.
The event will feature recognition for the newly retired staff of the Council, celebrating their years of dedicated service. To make the moment even more special, the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) will present gift items to the retirees as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the union and the Council at large.

The Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) in June/July (for school candidates).
The General Certificate in Education (GCE) in November/December (for external candidates).
